Phantom Hounds: Haunted Heart is an Onyx Warlords Mapmaking Team production.

Overview:
Phantom Hounds: Haunted Heart is the second installment in the Phantom Hounds series, which follows an elite special-ops team serving in Maelduns legion during The Great War. In the first installment, Phantom Hounds: the Call of Glory, the long-neglected force had been set on guard duty in a series of remote outposts where their talents were going to waste. Sinister things were afoot, however, and their heroism finally gained them the notice they deserved.

In Haunted Heart, the Phantom Hounds have been sent on a mission to Muirthemne, the ruined capital of the dead Cath Bruig Empire. At the center of a once thriving land now covered by sun-bleached and wind-tossed sand, they uncover dark secrets and follow the trail to an even deadlier threat than they had imagined. Battle Balor's armies across the desert, through the ruins of the city, in the gloomy catacombs beneath Muirthemne, and into the Untamed Lands in six solo/coop levels. Experience the Great War from a new perspective.

Phantom Hounds: Haunted Heart was tested using Myth II version 1.8, though some earlier versions will probably run it without difficulty.

Authors objective:

Phantom Hounds is a series of small solo campaigns that aims to make the most of old-school mapping and gameplay. Think of it as Coming of the Dark done Onyx-style. For now, one of the major goals of the project is to create conversions of certain multiplayer maps (some well known, some less so) that would be especially interesting as solos. However, unlike its prequel, Haunted Heart also has some original mesh work by Graydon. Expect to see exciting new scenarios, plenty of your favorite TFL units, more detail in the Great War backstory, and above all a healthy dose of gameplay in the traditional Myth style.

The Phantom Hounds are trained for special ops -- covert strikes, stealth missions, assassinations, etc. -- and the
gameplay of Phantom Hounds: Haunted Heart reflects this focus somewhat more than the first campaign did. You'll most
often find yourself with a smaller team of hero units or a unitset tailored to a specific mission objective, as in "Bloat" from the Call of Glory campaign. When the most vicious of assaults threatens and all other options are expended, however,
even the Phantom Hounds must stand fast and face the enemy head on.
